Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Tunisia Q4 2021

Throughout the fourth quarter of 2021, the top five navigation and maps apps on the Android platform in Tunisia experienced diverse trends in downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Google Earth saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at around 5.5K in late September and dropping to approximately 2.8K by mid-October. Downloads rebounded to about 5.9K in mid-November but then settled around 4.6K by late December. Weekly active users exhibited a similar pattern, beginning the quarter at 36.1K, dipping to 27.8K by mid-October, and then recovering to around 32.7K by mid-December.

GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation displayed a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 5.4K in mid-November. After a slight drop, downloads surged again to approximately 5.1K in mid-December. Weekly active users showed a corresponding rise, starting at 9.2K in late September and reaching a peak of 14.3K in mid-December.

Radar GO-X: HUD, GPS, Maps had a notable increase in downloads, starting at a modest 27 in late September and peaking at around 3.7K in mid-November. Downloads then fluctuated, ending the quarter at 2.5K. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, beginning at 996 in early October and reaching a high of 4.5K by the end of December.

GPS Area Measurements experienced significant growth in downloads, starting at 444 in late September and climbing to a peak of 3.8K by mid-November. After a drop, downloads rose again to about 2K by late December. Weekly active users increased from 1.9K in late September to 6.6K by mid-November, maintaining higher levels thereafter.

MAPS & GPS Voice Navigation had a varied performance with weekly downloads starting at 1.1K in late September, dipping to 161 by early October, and then recovering to about 970 by early November. Downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter, ending at 249 in late December. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 7K in late September, dropping to 4.3K by mid-October, and then recovering to around 6.6K by early December.
